Job summary

Skywaves Rise is seeking a senior security professional in Johannesburg to implement and manage data security controls, DLP, encryption, and access management. You will conduct risk analyses, monitor incidents, and guide governance across data handling.

The role requires knowledge of banking regulations, data privacy, and compliance frameworks, with hands-on experience in SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Required Skills:

• Experience with Data Security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), IAM, encryption, and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of banking regulations, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with security tools, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Strong understanding of data governance, risk management, and secure data handling practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or equivalent.
