We are seeking a Data / Process Engineer to join our team and support the Financial Surveillance department at a leading bank.

This role involves conducting business process modelling and engineering to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality. Job Summary

The Data / Process Engineer will be responsible for defining, optimising, and integrating business processes and value streams relevant to Financial Surveillance.

Minimum Qualifications Required
  • Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Informatics, or Business Information Systems.
  • Process engineering certification such as CBPP or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in process engineering.
  • Proficiency in process modelling tools, preferably ADONIS or similar.
  • Business Architecture training or certification.
  • Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma methods and techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and hybrid models.
  • Strong background in strategic and business transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to act as an Agent of Change, with strong analytical thinking and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of process-related standards and frameworks.
  • Experience in process simulations and process engineering software packages.
  • Proficient in data analysis and data presentation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and document business processes and value chains related to Financial Surveillance.
  • Analyze and improve business processes, systems, data, and information within functional areas.
  • Identify inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and opportunities for automation.
  • Develop detailed business process flows, integrating technology solutions to enable process improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop Target Operating Models and related artefacts.
  • Provide comprehensive process documentation, operating instructions, and contribute to process asset management.
