Job Title

Data Migration Specialist

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and control all activities relating to data migration and reporting between current and new operating systems, including data at facility and corporate levels.
  • Data Governance and Compliance: ensure data migration aligns with policies and regulatory standards; enforce data stewardship for accuracy and accountability.
  • Data Mapping and Transformation: validate, cleanse, and standardize data; define mapping between legacy and new systems; transform data to fit new structures.
  • Testing and Validation: conduct pre- and post-migration QA checks to ensure data integrity; support User Acceptance Testing for accuracy.
  • Data Quality & Integrity: perform data validation, cleansing, quality assurance, and standardization to maintain consistency and reliability.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Coordination: liaise with the Project Team and Business Units to ensure a smooth transition and address concerns.
  • Continuous Improvement and Post-Go Live Support: assist in data optimization and ongoing enhancements for improved management.
Required Education
  • Essential Education: Certification in data management or related field, or 3–5 years of hands-on data migration experience (preferably in a SAP environment); formal qualification may be waived if strong practical expertise is demonstrated.
  • Desired Education: Data Management/Stewardship qualification.
Required Experience
  • Essential Minimum Experience: 3–5 years of proven data experience, including hands-on data migration projects.
  • Desired Experience: SQL, data management and database management experience, preferably within healthcare; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
