As a Senior Data Manager, you'll lead the way in shaping how data drives strategy, growth, and performance across a dynamic group of companies. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll turn complex commercial, customer, and industry data into clear insights that influence decision-making at the highest level.
You'll own the data vision—building modern platforms (warehouse, lake, cloud), driving innovation with AI/ML, and ensuring data is secure, scalable, and business-ready. Working closely with executives and stakeholders, you'll have a direct hand in guiding strategy through data.

Data Governance & Security
- Ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of all data systems, adhering to industry standards for data governance and information security.
- Implement and enforce data governance frameworks that protect sensitive commercial, customer, and industry data.
- Manage data privacy and ensure that the company\'s data management practices comply with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, industry standards).
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in data management or data analytics, with a solid understanding of data architecture, data modelling, and overseeing data-driven projects.
- Leadership experience in managing and developing a team of data professionals.
- Strong experience in data modelling for both transactional and analytical databases.
- Expertise in ETL processes and data integration.
- Experience working with commercial data and using this data to drive business insights and strategic decision-making.
- Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders across functions.
- Practical experience using Microsoft data technologies (e.g., Azure, Power BI, SQL Server) or similar tools.
- Practical experience in AI and machine learning for predictive models and automated decision-making.
- Strong BI experience presenting, creating clear dashboards using Power BI for senior leadership.

Data Privacy Governance Officer
What will you do?
Build Privacy into Everything We Do:
- Design and embed privacy-by-design principles into new products, services and partnerships from day one
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) to identify and mitigate risks
- Draft and review Data Sharing and Usage Agreements (DSUAs) that enable business innovation while staying compliant
Be the Privacy Guardian Across the Ecosystem:
- Ensure privacy governance structures are effective across all SFT business units and partner organizations
- Manage the end-to-end data breach response process
- Investigate and respond to PAIA requests and data privacy complaints
- Manage correspondence with the Information Regulator on behalf of the Cluster Information Officer
Drive Compliance and Assurance:
- Lead compliance assessments and monitoring programs
- Ensure all business units maintain up-to-date processing registers and data maps
- Turn audit findings into actionable improvements
Champion a Privacy-First Culture:
- Deliver training, run privacy incident exercises, and manage communications programs
- Onboard and support Data Privacy Champions and Officers across the cluster
Navigate Complex Regulatory Landscapes:
- Stay ahead of AI governance and data privacy regulations
- Find innovative ways to enable data processing within regulatory constraints

Qualifications
