Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa in Cape Town is seeking a Data Analyst to collect, analyse, report and interpret data to support business strategies and performance reviews.

You will explore data, build dashboards and reports to answer business questions for the Mass Foundation Cluster, and advise on improving data quality and analytics approaches.

A Bachelor's degree in a data field, 1–2 years' experience, and proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI are required; certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric and a relevant bachelor’s degree in data-related fields.
• 1–2 years’ experience in data analysis, reporting or BI.
• Proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, SQL and Power BI is required; certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collect business requirements using interviews and workshops to define goals.
• Explore and manipulate data to identify themes and trends using BI tools.
• Support advanced analytics and interpret results to inform decisions.
• Build dashboards and reports to answer business questions.
• Educate stakeholders on data methods to improve quality and analytics.

Education
