Job summary

Moniepoint is seeking a Head of Data Governance to drive enterprise-wide data quality, security, and accessibility. You will architect the governance framework and lead a virtual team of Data Stewards across Finance, Sales, and other units, ensuring a unified, gold-standard approach to data accountability.

You will champion privacy and compliance (GDPR/NDPR) while partnering with Data Engineering to automate governance within CI/CD, enabling data as a strategic asset across a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Minimum 9+ years in Data Governance/Data Engineering/Data Strategy leadership.
• Experience building enterprise-wide governance in a high-growth fintech.
• Strong knowledge of privacy/regulatory regimes (NDPR, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise data governance program and roadmap.
• Architect governance framework and tooling across data domains.
• Manage Data Stewards and cross-functional governance ownership.
• Oversee platform selection and integration with data lake and pipelines.
