Duties & Responsibilities

• Key Job Outputs : Data Management
• Maintaining our data dictionary in conjunction with our data stewards.
• Providing necessary insights to improve the quality of our data.
• Ensuring that necessary data is provided in the agreed format to reporting and analytics teams.
• Agreeing with the analytics teams on necessary data elements.
• Maintaining a Data Dictionary and Business Glossary.
• Translating data meaning and context for reporting and analysis teams, emphasizing Credit and Sales.
• Deep understanding of the Production system mechanics of each of our product flows.
• Understanding how Salesforce is implemented.
• Managing database objects, fields, and their relationships.
• Providing detailed information on database changes.
• Stakeholder Communication and Change Management: Ensuring that the requirements of the data consumers are clearly understood by the technology teams; communicating any changes to production data clearly to data consumers; communicating across all departments, especially Credit and Technology Teams.
• Data Lake / Warehousing Management: Understanding how system enhancements impact the data warehouse; implementing new solutions and flows; extracting and transforming data from different systems; qualifying and scoring data, providing quality and accuracy reports; monitoring the data warehouse to ensure all data flows are running as scheduled.
• Data Quality Management: Moving data for updates on the system; updating records with external data; providing data stewards with agreed quality metrics; cleaning bad data when identified.
• Data Lake Maintenance: Ensuring necessary data elements are consistently updated from production.
