Job summary

Network Contracting in South Africa is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our talent database for current and future opportunities. You will focus on building scalable data pipelines, ingestion, ETL/ELT, and data modelling to support analytics and reporting.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, Python, and orchestration tools, and a track record of delivering reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development.
• Strong SQL and data pipelines experience.
• Experience with relational databases, data modelling and data quality controls.
• Cloud data platforms, Python, orchestration tools or streaming technologies are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Education

Training in analytics platforms or data architecture will be beneficial.

Demonstrable hands-on data engineering experience is valued.

Experience

Typically 4+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development or a closely related role.

Strong SQL skills and experience developing data pipelines or ETL/ELT processes.

Experience with relational databases, data modelling and data quality controls.

Cloud data platforms, Python, orchestration tools or streaming technologies will be highly advantageous.
