Job summary

Placements24 seeks a data-driven Procurement Analyst to join the purchasing team in Randburg in a hybrid role. You will analyze spending patterns, evaluate supplier performance, and provide insights to support strategic procurement decisions.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in procurement or data analysis, strong Excel/Tableau/Power BI skills, and a degree in a related field. You will collaborate across teams to improve efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–3 years in a procurement analyst, data analyst, or similar role.
Proficiency in Excel, Tableau and Power BI for data analysis.
Experience with procurement software and ERP systems is advantageous.
Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple analytical projects.
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Analytics or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze organizational spending data to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends.
Develop and maintain KPIs for procurement activities and supplier performance.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on procurement metrics, savings, and market intelligence.
Support sourcing and negotiation teams with data analysis and market research.
Monitor supplier performance and compliance, identifying areas for improvement or risks.
Assist in developing and refining procurement policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
