Job description

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Technician to support our ongoing work orders on an hourly basis. The ideal candidate will operate as a freelance/on-call technician, handling tasks related to hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance within data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled and on-demand data center work orders as assigned.
• Perform server installation, configuration, and hardware replacement (especially Lenovo servers).
• Handle cable management, rack and stack, diagnostics, and part replacement.
• Coordinate with remote teams for validation, testing, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and parts used.
• Follow all data center safety, security, and access procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a data center environment.
• Hands-on expertise with Lenovo servers (additional experience with Dell or HP servers is a plus).
• Strong troubleshooting and hardware handling skills.
• Availability to take up assignments on an hourly/freelance basis.
• Must have basic tools and reliable availability to travel to client data centers when needed.
