ATS Client in Johannesburg is building a world-class Data Office to transform raw information into actionable business intelligence.

In year one you will define and document data governance, design logical and physical models, and drive data quality and security across all platforms.

You will lead data projects, serve as the technical authority for RFIs and proposals, and explore ML and event-based pipelines where they offer clear business value.

Responsabilités

• Architectural Framework: Within the first 6 months, define and document the core enterprise data management framework, establishing standards for modelling, metadata, and master data that will govern 100% of new solution architectures.
• Redundancy Strategy: Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing data sources to identify redundancies and reliability gaps; deliver and begin executing a roadmap to resolve these inefficiencies by the end of year one.
• Data Quality & Security: Partner with technical and business stakeholders to design and implement a robust data quality resolution strategy and security control framework, ensuring data integrity across the entire solution ecosystem.
• End-to-End Design: Lead the creation of logical and physical data models for all major new IT projects, ensuring that architectures are scalable and aligned with long‑term business goals.
• Advisory & Innovation: Serve as the technical authority on data for all RFIs, RFPs, and project proposals, while driving the adoption of emerging technologies like ML and event‑based pipelines where they add clear business value.
