Job summary

PwC in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Associate for IT audit with practical technical skills to support technology-enabled solutions within the Data Technology Consulting team.

You will deliver and review software and data-related solutions, evaluate client environments and controls, and support governance, regulatory and audit-focused work while collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Gathers, analyses and documents business requirements into technical solutions.
• Hands-on software development or technical delivery experience.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Able to analyze and review technical solutions and controls.
• Strong problem-solving and written/verbal communication.
• Experience contributing to delivery, testing, or review activities.

Responsibilities

• Apply business and data analysis techniques to understand client challenges and deliver practical outcomes.
• Support development, enhancement and maintenance of software and data solutions.
• Review client technology solutions, processes and controls to identify gaps and improvements.
• Assist clients and internal stakeholders in understanding technical issues and options.
• Develop and maintain code, primarily in Python.
• Write and maintain SQL to support analyses and reports.
• Contribute to cloud-based solution delivery where required.
• Support testing, validation, documentation and implementation activities.
• Prepare clear written outputs including findings and working papers.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across engagements.
