Placements24 is seeking a Data Analyst with a passion for scientific research to join our fully remote team based in Welkom. You will collect, clean, and analyze large datasets, develop dashboards, and communicate insights to researchers and stakeholders, all from a home office.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a quantitative field and proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and visualization tools, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in statistics, mathematics, CS, data science, or related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on scientific or research data.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large scientific datasets from diverse sources.
• Perform statistical analysis and modeling to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies.
