The Role

The Senior Data Analyst will play a key role in delivering analytics and insight across a varied portfolio of digital marketing activity. Working closely with senior stakeholders within the data function, the role focuses on ensuring accurate data collection, meaningful reporting, and actionable insight to support strategic decision‑making.

This position suits an analytically minded professional who enjoys solving complex problems, working across multiple projects, and translating data into clear recommendations. The role involves hands‑on work with web analytics platforms, tag management systems, privacy‑aware tracking solutions, and dashboarding tools.

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of the role is to ensure robust, accurate, and scalable tracking across websites and digital platforms.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and auditing GA4 implementations to ensure alignment with best practice, updating audit frameworks as platforms evolve
  • Configuring, maintaining, and optimising GA4 and GTM setups, including consent mode, custom events, form tracking, enhanced ecommerce, and cross-domain tracking
  • Supporting paid media and marketing teams with the validation and troubleshooting of conversion tracking across major advertising platforms
  • Collaborating with developers to define data layer requirements and ensure correct technical implementation
  • Building and maintaining clear, commercially focused dashboards using Looker Studio
Looking for

Key requirements include:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a marketing or digital analytics role
  • Hands‑on experience working with digital marketing data and performance metrics
  • Exposure to areas such as performance marketing, paid media, SEO, display, or digital strategy
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals and the wider marketing ecosystem
  • High numerical and analytical capability, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Confidence working with stakeholders and contributing to strategic discussions
  • A willingness to learn beyond your core discipline and support the wider business
