Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
iO-Sphere is seeking a part-time assessor to mark submissions across data and AI subjects. You will deliver final judgments against criteria, provide targeted feedback, and help scale apprenticeship and bootcamp assessments. The role requires reliability to meet a 48-hour turnaround.
The engagement is remote with UK-hour alignment, starting October 2026 for roughly four months, with potential expansion if workload allows. DBS or safeguarding training is required.
Flexible engagement· Hybrid, UK hours ·Starts October 2026 · Marking across our data & AI subject areas
You've got real depth across data and AI — data analysis, business analysis, and data or AI governance — enough to judge someone else's work fairly, and fast. This role is exactly that and nothing else: robust marking against the assessment criteria, turned around inside 48 hours, so learners never wait and cohorts never stall.
It's built for someone who wants flexible, focused work: no live delivery, no caseload — just high-quality assessment when the cohorts need capacity. Bootcamp units to start, and ideally apprenticeship portfolios too.
About iO-Sphere
We train people to do things with data and AI, not just learn about them. Learners work on real problems — including in Prism, a simulated business we built on 500 million rows of real data. 900+ people have trained with us, we're rated 4.8 on Google, and we're one of the UK's fastest-growing data and AI training startups. Teams at PwC, BAE Systems, Dunelm, Motorway and CBRE send us their people.
We're a startup, so how we coach isn't finished — and we'd want you helping build it. The people who improve how we do this are the ones deepest in it.

The essentials
Safeguarding and safer recruitment
iO-Sphere is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners, all of whom are adults aged 18 and over. Everyone who works with us shares that responsibility, whatever the role.
We follow safer recruitment practice. Depending on the role and your location, this may include identity and right to work checks, references covering your recent employment history, an explanation of any gaps, verification of qualifications, and a criminal records check appropriate to the role and jurisdiction. You will be told which checks apply before any offer is made.
Please apply honestly and in full. Having a criminal record will not automatically rule you out; we consider each case on its merits. Withholding or falsifying relevant information will result in your application being withdrawn or your engagement terminated.
Equal opportunities
iO-Sphere is an equal opportunities employer. We hire on merit and welcome applications from every background. If you need an adjustment at any stage, just tell us and we will make it happen.
