Job summary

Sanlam is offering a 13-month Data, AI and Engineering Academy Graduate programme for soon-to-be or recent graduates. Permanent employment starts from day one, with market-related benefits and structured development, across data, AI and engineering tracks.

You will work with Sanlam’s technology and business leaders, gaining hands-on experience in data, AI, cloud, and modern engineering within Africa’s largest non-banking financial services group.

Qualifications

• We will only consider students who already hold a degree or will obtain a degree by end of 2026.
• You should not have more than 12 months' related post-university professional working experience.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for data and AI.

Responsibilities

• Data and AI track: develop foundations in data management, data engineering and AI-ready data products.
• Software Engineering & AI track: grow in cloud-native architecture and AI techniques.
• Rotate across IT and business teams to gain exposure to multiple disciplines.
• Participate in innovation days, hackathons and training.
