Placements24 is seeking a creative and skilled dApp Developer to join our innovative team in Paarl. You will build user-friendly, performant decentralized applications leveraging blockchain tech, with a blend of front-end and back-end work and smart contract interaction.

You will collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive interfaces, optimize performance, and troubleshoot end-to-end for seamless blockchain experiences in a fast-growing web3 space.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dApp or full-stack developer with blockchain projects.
• Proficiency in React, Vue or Angular and Solidity.
• Strong understanding of blockchain protocols, wallets and transactions.
• Experience with decentralized storage and oracles is a plus.
• Git familiarity and agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy user-facing decentralized applications (dApps) on various blockchain platforms.
• Integrate dApps with smart contracts and backend services, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Optimize dApp performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for decentralized applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack of the dApp, from front-end to blockchain interaction.
