Job summary

A technology services firm in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity sales. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3-5 years of experience in account management. Responsibilities include building customer relationships, identifying upselling opportunities, and communicating the value of cybersecurity solutions. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor''s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Must have a Drivers Licence & own vehicle
  • South African with an SA ID number
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in key account management, preferably within the technology or services industry (cybersecurity experience is significant).
  • Sales Management experience in the Cyber Security industry.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts, particularly in cybersecurity.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing existing Customers relationships and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Understanding of the South African business landscape and channel dynamic
Customers Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned Customerss, acting as a trusted advisor and partner.

Understand Customerss'' business objectives, cybersecurity priorities, and evolving needs.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all Customers inquiries and issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Conduct regular Customers meetings and check-ins to discuss performance, identify opportunities, and build rapport.

Account Growth and Development:

Proactively identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing Customers accounts, promoting the full range of solutions and services.

Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the company''s footprint within assigned Customers.

Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts.

Understanding of Cybersecurity Solutions and Services:

Develop and maintain a strong understanding of entire portfolio of cybersecurity consulting and managed security services.

Effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions to Customers, aligning them with their specific needs and challenges.

Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats relevant to our Customers in the South African context.

Sales and Negotiation:

Lead the sales process for upselling and cross-selling opportunities, including proposal development, presentations, and negotiations.

Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., technical specialists, service delivery) to develop tailored solutions for Customers.

Effectively close deals and achieve sales targets.
