We are looking for a Customer Technologist to join our Technical Department. This role blends technical expertise, customer engagement, and market insight to deliver exceptional fruit quality and strong customer relationships.

What you will do

• Act as the technical link between our marketing team, customers, and growers.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers through direct engagement and seasonal visits (in-country or abroad).
• Develop and maintain product and packaging specifications to meet market needs.
• Lead technical investigations into quality claims and ensure swift, effective resolution.
• Collaborate on New Product Development, from trial design to commercialisation.
• Support supply development, quality benchmarking, and year-round product excellence.

What we are looking for

• Qualification: Applicable tertiary qualification, Agricultural Sciences preferred.
• Experience: 2–4 years in fresh produce (soft fruit experience highly desirable) or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes, supply chain handling, and customer relations.
• Computer literacy: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and thrive under seasonal pressure.
