We're Neat Hive Cleaning, a Portland, OR-based home cleaning company expanding rapidly.

We're looking for a proactive, resourceful Virtual Assistant who thrives in a startup environment and is excited to work directly with the owner to scale the business. This is a full-time, fully remote role.

You'll be the bridge between our customers, cleaning teams, and operations — making sure the business runs smoothly every day.

What You'll Do
  • Manage customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat
  • Book, reschedule, and confirm cleaning appointments
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales — turning leads into happy customers
  • Interview, hire, and onboard cleaners to maintain quality
  • Coordinate schedules between customers and cleaners
  • Assist with customer feedback and quality control
  • Troubleshoot daily operational issues with a problem‑solving mindset
  • Track bookings, revenue, and team performance
You'll Succeed Here If …
  • You love solving problems and "closing the loop" with customers
  • You're fluent in English (written + spoken) and comfortable with North American customers
  • You're organized, tech‑savvy (Google Sheets, OpenPhone, CRM tools), and detail‑oriented
  • You thrive in a fast‑paced, startup setting with direct founder involvement
  • You're calm under pressure and enjoy juggling multiple tasks at once
  • You're excited about professional growth into an operations manager / general manager role
Requirements
  • 2+ years customer service or administrative support experience (home services a plus)
  • Experience working remotely or as a virtual assistant
  • Sales and / or phone experience preferred
  • Must be available during Pacific Time hours, including weekends (Sat + Sun full days required)
  • Flexibility to take two weekdays off instead of weekends
