Overview

A Southern African retail solutions company is looking for customer service professionals who are interested in being trained as Baristas based in Gauteng and Cape Town.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage and approach customers to promote and sell our coffee and products


• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages (training provided)


• Upsell and promote our products to drive sales and grow store performance


• Handle food items safely and hygienically (including light food preparation)


• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety standards


• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and POS systems


• Monitor stock levels, restock as needed, and report shortages


• Follow opening, closing and cash-up procedures accurately


• Take initiative in creating a welcoming and high-energy environment

Requirements

• Sales personality confident, proactive and not afraid to approach customers


• Energetic, positive and resilient with the ability to handle rejection


• Excellent English communication skills


• Well-groomed professional appearance


• Previous retail or food service experience is advantageous but not essential


• Able to work shifts weekends and public holidays as required


• Matric qualification is essential
