MANCOSA, a DHET registered and CHE accredited private higher education distance education provider, seeks a Curriculum Development Coordinator to support the Curriculum Department in new module development. You will coordinate content writing, moderation, and governance for Module Guides, while engaging with writers, moderators, and advisory members.

The role requires navigating regulatory standards, developing reports, and ensuring high-quality module information.

Qualifications

• Essential experience: 1-2 year’s higher education work experience, and understanding of curriculum and regulatory compliance.
• Preferred experience: 1-2 year’s higher education work experience, and understanding of curriculum and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the new module development process for content writing and moderation of new Module Guides.
• Conduct sourcing and contracting of Programme Advisory Members, Module Guide Writers and Module Guide Moderators.
• Provide professional feedback to Module Guide Writers and Moderators, aligning to standards.
• Track documents per New Module Development processes.
• Compile Curriculum Structures, Programme Information Sheets, Prescribed and Recommended Readings for new modules.
• Compile New Module Development Reports.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings and interviews.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to student success via curriculum-related queries and quality module guides.
• Coordinate formatting and layout editing on New Module Guides.
• Digitise Module Guides to maintain quality on the Curriculum Development system.
• Participate in regulatory body activities.
• Assist during departmental and institutional functions/events.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.
