Job summary

Empact Group is seeking a dynamic Assistant Catering Manager in KwaZulu-Natal to oversee daily kitchen operations and manage costs effectively. This role requires a tertiary qualification in Food & Beverage Services or Culinary Arts, along with at least 3 years of kitchen management experience.

Responsibilities include menu planning, ensuring HACCP compliance, and leading the kitchen brigade while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ progressive kitchen management experience.
• Proven track record of delivering results within budget.
• High-volume, complex foodservice experience.
• Knowledge of special diets.
• Strong understanding of HSE regulations (advantageous).
• Computer literacy and solid HACCP knowledge.
