Our client is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to provide comprehensive design support across numerous business divisions, while gaining hands‑on experience in corporate brand management and visual communications.
- Design and produce visual assets for social media platforms, digital advertising, corporate presentations, and printed marketing materials
- Create and maintain brand collateral including promotional brochures, business flyers, corporate stationery, and internal documentation
- Develop compelling graphics for web content, email marketing campaigns, and various multimedia applications
- Collaborate with management and cross‑functional teams to ensure brand consistency and visual coherence across all touchpoints
- Coordinate artwork preparation for production processes and maintain relationships with external printing vendors
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and implement design revisions based on stakeholder feedback
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Formal qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or equivalent creative discipline
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Working competency with Canva design platform
- Strong understanding of design principles including layout, typography, and visual composition
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous internship or work experience in design‑related roles

About the Role: The Junior Graphic Design & Marketing Specialist thrives at the intersection of creativity and digital strategy, supporting the Head of Marketing in designing and managing digital and offline marketing initiatives that amplify Innovation City’s brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Graphic Design
- Design marketing collateral for both online and offline use, including event branding, signage, and presentations.
- Create and update digital assets for the website, events, and campaigns.
- Lead the design and development of landing pages and microsites for major events.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communications.
- Design and refine internal and external presentations.
- Digital Marketing
- Manage Innovation City’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Develop and schedule engaging content that aligns with brand voice and strategic goals.
- Plan, execute, and monitor paid campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Business Suite).
- Report on analytics and provide performance insights to the Head of Marketing and leadership team.
- Drive online community engagement through active interaction and conversation.
- Design and distribute Innovation City’s weekly newsletter via Mailchimp.
- Handle event ticketing setup, management, and performance tracking.
- Web & Platform Management
- Maintain and update Innovation City’s WordPress website.
- Ensure all digital platforms are visually consistent, user‑friendly, and fully functional.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing, Events Team, and Leadership Team to deliver high‑quality, impactful campaigns.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, members, and event partners to ensure marketing deliverables meet expectations and deadlines.
- Act as a brand ambassador, engaging with the Innovation City community both online and at events.
Requirements
- A relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1–2 years' experience in a similar role (internship experience considered).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Canva (portfolio required).
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating content.
- Basic knowledge of digital advertising platforms.
- Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Ability to use analytics tools to measure performance.
- Exposure to event marketing and ticketing platforms is advantageous.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills are a plus.
- Highly creative with strong visual instincts.

Role Summary
The graphic design intern will assist with marketing conceptualisation, creative tasks, graphic design outputs, offering hands‑on experience in a dynamic business environment.
- Design social media content for platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), ensuring alignment with the brand's aesthetic and visual language.
- Assist with website maintenance to ensure accurate and current content.
