Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Cryptocurrency Trader and Analyst to join a dynamic quantitative trading firm focused on digital assets, with operations centered in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will conduct market analysis, develop strategies, monitor portfolios, and identify lucrative opportunities in a fast-moving crypto space.

The ideal candidate has a strong quantitative background, several years in crypto markets, and proficiency in Python and trading APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, CS, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years in trading or quantitative analysis, with strong crypto focus.
• Proven experience developing/executing trading strategies (algorithmic preferred).
• Strong knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystems.
• Proficiency in Python data tools (pandas, NumPy).
• Solid understanding of financial markets, risk management, and portfolio optimization.
