Job description

Kalagadi Manganese Mine invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Crushing and Screening Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing crushing and screening operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production in line with operational targets.

Education and Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement).
• A formal Supervisory qualification will be an added advantage.
• Relevant competency certificates, including a Mineral Processing certificate.

Experience:

• Crushing and Screening: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a crushing and screening operation.
• Supervisory: At least 5 years’ experience in supervisory roles or other roles involving supervision.
• Plant Operations: Strong experience with plant operations, including conveyors and equipment such as jaw crushers, cone crushers, and screens.

Skills and Attributes:

• Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and equipment breakdowns.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting, training, and team coordination.
• Technical Skills: Computer literate (MS Office), with experience in control rooms and SCADA systems.
• Safety: Strong understanding and commitment to safety regulations, procedures, and systems.
• Quality Control: Proven experience in ensuring product quality through adherence to quality control procedures.
