Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Crop Protection Officer to remotely support agricultural operations near Mahikeng. The role focuses on developing and implementing strategies to manage pests, diseases, and weeds using data and remote sensing technologies.

You will monitor fields remotely, prescribe sustainable protection measures, and provide training to farm personnel while working from a remote location.

Qualifications

Degree in Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Entomology, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of crop protection experience.
Familiarity with remote sensing, GIS, and data analysis for agriculture.
