Job summary

A logistics company based in Nigel, South Africa, is seeking a CREDITORS ADMINISTRATOR. The role involves capturing creditor invoices, managing reconciliation tasks, and other accounting duties. Ideal candidates should have a Matric certificate and strong Excel skills, as well as a solid understanding of reconciliations. Availability for immediate start is a plus. • Extensive knowledge of reconciliations is a must.
• Experience in a creditors function will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Capture creditor invoices in accordance with set guidelines.

• Check age analysis for creditors to prevent outstanding liabilities.
• Adhoc tasks required by the Financial Manager.

CREDITORS ADMINISTRATOR

Key Responsibilities

• Capture creditor invoices in accordance with set guidelines
• Ensure that all creditor invoices are approved/signed off by relevant manager
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of creditors invoices against statements
• Prepare and send remittance advices for creditor payments
• Check age analysis for creditors to ensure that there are no long outstanding liabilities
• Allocation of creditor payments
• Process recovery invoices ensure supporting documentation is accurate and correct. Monthly reconciliations thereof.
• Uploading BEE certificates and ensure suppliers info is updated on BEE platform.
• Adhoc journals & tasks required by the Financial Manager
• Capture Wages Invoices onto the system
• Daily recons TMS vs QSA (Diesel)

Job Specification

• Matric
• Intermediate / advance excel skills compulsory
• Extensive knowledge of reconciliations is a must
• Experience in a creditors function will be an advantage
