Job summary

Network Recruitment International in South Africa seeks a Credit Analyst to join its Head Office team. The role focuses on evaluating complex credit structures, analysing financial performance and partnering with stakeholders to support sustainable growth.

The ideal candidate holds a Finance/Accounting degree, 3–5 years in Credit Risk or related areas, and strong Excel skills; SAP/Power BI experience is advantageous. You will prepare credit reports and monitor portfolios to manage risk.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
• 3–5 years' experience within Credit Risk, Commercial Credit, Corporate Banking, Vehicle & Asset Finance, or related financial services.
• Strong experience analysing corporate financial statements, cash flows, and credit exposures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed credit assessments of corporate clients, fleet operators, dealers, and other financing applicants, providing well-reasoned credit recommendations.
• Analyse financial statements, management accounts, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and key financial ratios to assess creditworthiness and repayment capacity.
• Structure financing solutions by recommending suitable credit limits, repayment terms, collateral requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare high-quality credit reports and present findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management and approval committees.
• Monitor customer portfolios, identify early warning signs, and proactively manage risk through ongoing credit reviews and portfolio analysis.

• Advanced Excel skills with exposure to SAP, Power BI, credit management systems, or similar financial platforms being advantageous.


• Strong commercial acumen, risk assessment capability, attention to detail, and the confidence to independently evaluate and challenge credit decisions.
