Credit Risk Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for a Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role within a specialist Credit Risk team. You will collaborate with experienced actuaries, quantitative analysts, statisticians and risk experts to deliver cutting‑edge solutions to banks, corporates and institutions across diverse sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop and calibrate credit risk models including PD, LGD and EAD
  • Validate and monitor IFRS 9 impairment and regulatory models
  • Deliver portfolio credit analytics, benchmarking and peer analysis
  • Create scorecards, behavioural pricing frameworks and risk strategy models
  • Contribute to audit support, regulatory compliance and advisory engagements
  • Present findings and solutions to clients in well‑structured reports
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a high‑performing team culture
What You Need
  • Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering or a related field
  • 35 years of relevant experience in credit risk modelling or financial services consulting
  • Strong understanding of the credit lifecycle, model development processes and IFRS 9 and Basel regulations
  • Coding proficiency in SAS, R or Python (SAS Enterprise Guide an advantage)
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and business acumen
