The role involves processing stocks returned from customers, ensuring compliance with supplier policies, and managing claims. Candidates should have Grade 12 and preferably 1 year's experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Qualifications

  • 1 Year's experience of customer returns/RTV processes required.
  • Must be PC literate.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that supplier returns are accurately checked and logged.
  • Daily follow up with suppliers for approvals and uplift.
  • Claims must be logged on supplier portal.

Introduction

We are looking to recruit a permanent Credit Returns Clerk (RTV) to work within the Operations department of United Pharmaceutical Distributors. The role will be based at UPD Bloemfontein branch and will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Job Purpose
  • To ensure that stocks returned from customer are processed according to SOP, credit passed and stock handled in the appropriate manner.
Job Objectives
  • Ensure that supplier returns is accurately checked and logged, taking into consideration description, quantity, and batch and expiry date.
  • Daily follow up to be done with suppliers for approvals and uplift.
  • Ensure claims are captured correctly on both platforms namely SAP and Knapp.
  • All claims needs to be logged on supplier portal (Create claims Inbound).
  • Ensure RTV tracker is updated daily and submitted to Supervisor.
  • Ensure RTV block bins are stock checked verify batch ,expiry and quantity.
  • Engage with the buying department and stock control w.r.t. recalled and supplier damaged stock.
  • Ensure that damaged stock is moved to the destruction cage for disposal.
  • Ensure that all supplier return with supporting documentation are retained for future reference purposes.
  • Ensure supplier policies such as 1, 3, 4 and 6 months is adhere to as this will eliminate rejections from suppliers.
  • Scheduled supplier uplifts are to be adhere to only Management is allowed to turn supplier away.
  • All security protocol is not be breached.
  • Employee to ensure all deadlines are adhere to.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Grade 12.
  • 1 Year’s experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, preferable.
  • 1 Year's experience of customer returns/RTV processes (product handling and crediting).
  • Ms Office proficient/ PC Literate.

  • Knowledge of SOP’s w.r.t. credit returns/RTV, stock recall and Good Warehouse Practice (GWP).
