Job description

Suitably qualified incumbent from the Financial/Credit risk analytics sector required to develop, manage and monitor relevant reporting models, to provide advanced analytical support, to critically analyse and advise the department on data driven insights and trends, and create and maintain accurate data, dashboards, and management reports.

Permanent position reporting to the Credit Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and circulate all reports to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Lead the identification, development, implementation, and maintenance of new credit strategies and solutions
  • Analyse and report on key performance metrics in the Department
  • Evaluate operational processes and reporting to improve productivity, efficiency and profitability
  • Prepare Ad-hoc projects and analytics
  • Manage system/technical issues by logging service desk tickets with IT
  • Track all system/policy/operational changes made
  • Perform End to end systems testing
  • Automate reports and processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Business Science (Honours degree preferred)
  • Proficiency in database management, SQL and other programming languages
  • Advanced Excel
  • 2-5 years' experience in Data Analytics and Reporting
  • Credit Underwriting (advantageous)
