Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative Retail Visual Merchandiser in Bloemfontein to design and implement in-store displays that captivate customers and drive sales. You will translate brand guidelines into compelling layouts, plan window presentations, and collaborate with store management on promotions.

You should have proven visual merchandising experience, a strong eye for color, balance, and space, and be comfortable managing multiple displays while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Retail Visual Merchandiser or in a related visual arts field.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangement.
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and artistic flair.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with retail environments and consumer behaviour.
• Proficiency in basic design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute creative visual merchandising plans for in-store displays, window presentations, and product placement.
• Ensure all displays are consistent with brand identity, seasonal themes, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with store management and marketing teams to achieve visual merchandising objectives.
• Maintain and update displays regularly, ensuring they are clean, well-lit, and appealing.
• Analyze sales data to understand the impact of visual merchandising on product performance.
• Source and manage props, fixtures, and signage needed for displays.
