Simbavati Lodge Collection, synonymous with luxury safari, wilderness and coastal experiences, is seeking a highly creative and forward‑thinking Graphic Designer (Creative & Brand Development) to join our Cape Town team. You will help express Africalm through visual storytelling and you will also create the everyday assets that keep our lodges and campaigns moving.
We champion thoughtful design, collaboration and growth. Your role: Conceptual design. Develop original, on‑brand ideas that elevate our identity. Day‑to‑day design: Produce high quality assets across social media, brochures, digital, advertising and lodge collateral. Brand development: Extend and refine Simbavati's visual language across print and digital. Collaboration: Work with marketing, reservations and lodge teams to align creativity with business needs. Craft and detail: Maintain premium standards in layout, typography and design systems.
Who we are looking for: A creative thinker with strong conceptual ability and disciplined execution. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with an eye for aesthetics and storytelling for a comfortable balancing of campaign concepts with everyday production work. Enthusiastic, curious and ready to grow within a brand that is expanding internationally. A portfolio that shows both big ideas and strong craft. Applicants must be based in Cape Town.

Africalm Design Task Objective: Show how you interpret Africalm and connect it to your favourite Simbavati lodge. Deliverable: Submit a concept PDF.
A short deck of up to three pages is also acceptable if it helps clarity. Include all of the following: Title or idea name that captures your concept.; Hero visual such as an ad, poster or key visual.; Extension samples. Two or three quick mock‑ups that show the idea working across different touchpoints. Choose from social series, web module, brochure spread, lodge collateral, out of home or motion storyboard. Short rationale of two words that explains why this is true to Simbavati and Africalm. Notes: Keep it simple and clear. Polished production is not required. We want to see your idea and your eye. Stock imagery is acceptable. Original thinking is essential.
How we assess your concept: Idea strength and originality; Alignment with Africalm and the Simbavati tone; Execution and craft in layout and typography; Versatility across touchpoints; Clarity of rationale.
