Job summary

OLX in Johannesburg is seeking a Digital Graphic Designer to craft scroll-stopping digital experiences. You will create online banners, build websites with HTML5, and apply CSS and WordPress expertise to deliver high‑quality designs for media titles.

You will work with Marketing, HR, and QA to ensure timely delivery, while keeping current with design best practices and CMS workflows. A collaborative, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or Matric or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of digital design experience.
• 1–2 years of CSS, HTML5, and WordPress experience.
• Must work well independently and in a team.
• A tertiary qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create online banners in JPG, GIF, and HTML formats for websites.
• Develop websites using HTML5 and other design software.
• Stay updated on HTML/CSS best practices and related tools.
• Coordinate with the QA team for testing before client delivery.
• Assist other designers and marketing with design tasks to meet deadlines.
• Support HR with internal communication designs.
