Job summary

A leading motor dealership is seeking a Costing & Warranty Clerk to manage warranty claims and repair orders with a strong focus on detail and accuracy. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in the motor industry, a Senior Certificate, and familiarity with DMS systems. This full-time position offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team in Cape Town.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of previous Costing Experience required.
  • OEM Warranty / Motor Plan Costing abilities needed.
  • Motor Dealership Industry experience is non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

  • Validating Repair Orders by verifying customer info and vehicle details.
  • Ensuring all work performed is authorized and accurate.
  • Managing and controlling policy invoicing.

Job description

A leading motor dealership in the CAPE TOWN area is seeking a Costing & Warranty Clerk to join their team. If you have experience in the motor industry strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in financial processes we want to hear from you!

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Validating Repair Orders by verifying payment method work requested customer info Motor Plan CIA and vehicle details
  • Correcting entries on the subscribed OEM System
  • Repair order costing : ensuring all work performed is authorized and attention to detail is maintained
  • Responsible for Motor Plan / Warranty Claims managementEnsuring the control parts return process is followed and completed correctly
  • Providing weekly feedback on claim reconciliations and payment recons
  • Loading authority and following up with OEM for approvals
  • Assisting the workshop with cash estimates
  • Invoicing of internal cash motor plan and warranty invoices
  • Correct invoicing of insurance claims
  • Updating customer details on Motorplan after quality check completion
  • Managing and controlling policy invoicing
  • Adjusting technician clocking times
  • Loading of resources and skills to ensure accurate cost tracking
Requirements
  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • 3 years of previous Costing Experience
  • Previous OEM Warranty / Motor Plan Costing Abilities
  • Motor Dealership Industry Experience non negotiable
  • DMS system experience
