Job Description

Our client is looking for a young energetic individual to join their Team in the Capacity of a Cost & Management Accountant. The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Manage product costing, pricing, and margin analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making
• Ensure that accurate cost and pricing data is maintained
• Develop and maintain relevant reports to support sales and margin management
• Work closely with production to understand material usage and ensure accurate costing
• Capex control process administration
• Develop a working knowledge of all production processes to improve costing accuracy
• Assist in the preparation of annual and rolling budgets
• Maintain accurate records of all client pricing history and changes
• Perform ad‑hoc variance analysis across cost, margin, and operational performance

Qualifications

• Matriculation
• Bcom in Accounting/Finance or Equivalent
• CIMA qualified or actively working toward CIMA qualification (highly advantageous)

Skills

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in management accounting, ideally in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
• Strong understanding of product costing and margin management
• Experience with ERP systems (Syspro preferred)
