Position

Cost Accountant - Hospital Pricing Specialist. Please note that this position is based in the Middle East; relocation, accommodation, and additional benefits apply. We are seeking a skilled Cost Accountant with expertise in pricing products and services within a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate the costs associated with hospital products and services, including medical supplies, procedures, and treatments.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue generation while ensuring competitiveness in the market.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing trends and opportunities for strategic pricing adjustments.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads, finance teams, and senior management to establish pricing policies and guidelines aligned with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and review pricing performance, identifying variances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare pricing proposals and recommendations for new services, expansions, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate pricing data and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Provide support and guidance to cross-functional teams on pricing-related matters, including sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in hospital pricing and cost accounting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
