An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cost Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based in Bryanston. This role is perfect for someone with strong costing experience in a manufacturing environment who thrives on accuracy analysis and collaboration across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Managing month-end costing processes to ensure timely and accurate predetermined cost calculations.
• Maintaining and reviewing the bill of materials (BoM) and performing variance analysis to enhance costing precision.
• Overseeing transfer pricing calculations and ensuring alignment between intercompany prices and costs.
• Preparing detailed margin analysis reports per product and customer on a monthly basis.
• Analysing manufacturing cost drivers and preparing burden rate reports to support budgeting and financial planning.
• Supporting internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance with governance and legislation.

Requirements

• A degree or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in costing within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and MS Office particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and management accounts.
• Solid business acumen and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated integrity trustworthiness and customer focus.
• CIMA qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
