Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Determine and calculate overhead and labour costs.
2. Analyse production and operational costs.
3. Responsible for the budgets (expense and capex) for the factory.
4. Prepare investment proposals for the factory.
5. Monthly reporting and analysis of costs.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• BCom in Management Accounting, or CIMA Management level.
• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant or Cost Analyst.
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role; audit background is an advantage.
• Manufacturing experience is essential.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and IFRS.
• Experience with accounting software, such as Sage X3 and CaseWare.
• Computer literacy, especially MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
