Company Description

Wada Group is a top slurry pump manufacturer in South Africa, specializing in providing slurry pump solutions and offering a wide range of slurry pump and spares.

Requirements

• At least 5 years accountant work experience in Manufacturing industry.
• Strong skill in Pastel Accounting : SAGE Evolution.
• Good at costing and inventory management.
• Age 35 to 40.

Responsibilities

• Management Report: Provide monthly and yearly management reporting to the management.
• Profit Ratio and COS Ratio analysis.
• Staff KPI and commission calculations.
• Setting up annual and monthly budget with the management.
• Financial Management: Manage internal controls and system (Pastel Evolution).
• Oversee the accounting function of the business which includes Debtors, Creditors, Stock control and Banking / Cash.
• Cash Management: periodic cash flows and cash forecasts.
• Supervise stock counts.
• Perform VAT Recon to find out all VAT variances for the whole year.
• Costing calculations for all products purchased and loading of the product cost into the accounting system.
• Checking daily Debtor's income allocations and Supplier's payment allocations.
• Stock Adjustment processing.
• Ensure company secretarial submissions are up to date.
• TAXATION: Submit VAT Returns VAT using SARS efiling. Payroll administration using Pastel Payroll, submit EMP returns using SARS efiling. Calculates and submissions of Workman's compensation to department of labor and States. Submit EMP and IRP5 using easyfile.
• Process Management Accounts Submission of provisional tax for the company.
• Submissions of company and personal tax returns. Liaison with SARS all audit queries.
• ANNUAL AUDIT: Finalization of Audit files. Finalization of Financial Statements using CaseWare and perform audit review. Liaison with company auditors.
• Ensuring that all necessary documentation is readily available for submission to the client: COIDA, TCC pin, BBBEE certificate.
