Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience as a Wellness Manager or in a similar role.
  • 3 years of managerial experience.
  • Experience in initiating, implementing, and managing wellness programs.
  • Knowledge of health and wellness principles and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Organize wellness days covering at least 5% of the workforce.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and wellness committees.
  • Manage trauma counseling cases and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Compile and submit wellness reports for various committees.

Job Title : Corporate Wellness Manager Job Location : Gauteng, Roodepoort | Deadline : August 15,

  • Main Job Purpose : The purpose of this position is to manage and administer company policies and initiatives to promote employee well‐being physically, mentally, and financially, based on the company's comprehensive health and wellness strategy.

This includes developing, implementing, and managing health and wellness programs to enhance employee well‐being and productivity.

Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 / NQF 4 or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioural or Social Sciences at NQF 6 or similar.
  • 3-5 years' experience as a Wellness Manager or in a similar role.
  • 3 years of managerial experience.
  • Experience in initiating, implementing, and managing wellness programs.
  • Knowledge of health and wellness principles, practices, and resources.
  • Strong presentation skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities / Job Objectives
  • Organize wellness days covering at least 5% of the workforce.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and wellness committees for event planning.
  • Confirm arrangements with branches / business units 4 weeks prior to events.
  • Ensure all logistics and service providers are prepared and confirm 5 days before events.
  • Proactively address health crises, such as pandemics.
  • Incorporate activities into the wellness calendar based on the SA Health Calendar.
  • Distribute wellness articles and organize related activities.
  • Communicate with Human Capital and organize Microsoft Teams sessions on wellness topics.
  • Manage trauma counseling cases and ensure proper follow‑up and claims processing.
  • Establish and manage wellness initiatives committees and structures.
  • Compile and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly wellness reports for various committees and executive management.
  • Drive wellness initiatives with medical benefits providers and internal programs like Fidelity Cares, Umsuka Wemali, etc.
  • Conduct wellness surveys, analyze outcomes, and implement action plans.
