We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Corporate Governance Officer to ensure that our organisation operates with transparency, accountability, and ethical excellence across all areas from guest services to corporate operations. The ideal candidate will champion governance practices that foster trust, compliance, and sustainable growth while aligning with the dynamic, service-driven nature of the hospitality industry.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Corporate Governance, Law, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a corporate governance, compliance, or company secretarial role within the hospitality, tourism, or service industry.
  • Proven experience in managing governance or compliance within multi-site or group hospitality operations.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with hospitality operations.
  • Support the Board, Executive Management, and Property Managers with statutory, regulatory, and governance compliance.
  • Promote ethical conduct, transparency, and accountability across all hotels, lodges, and departments.
  • Oversee accurate and timely preparation of board packs, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with hospitality regulations, including health & safety, environmental, consumer, and labour standards.
  • Lead governance and compliance training for property and head office teams.
  • Keep abreast of developments in hospitality legislation, King IV principles, and governance best practices.
