A dynamic recruitment agency in Randburg is seeking an experienced copywriter to create engaging content for marketing materials and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio in the hospitality/luxury travel industry, exceptional writing skills, and a deep understanding of SEO principles. This role emphasizes collaboration with marketing teams and requires the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Create compelling copy for marketing materials including brochures, sales collateral, direct mailers, email campaigns, and digital content
Write engaging scripts for webinars, presentations, video content and YouTube channel
Develop persuasive, SEO-optimised website copy that drives conversions
Produce sales enablement materials and craft targeted content for different audience segments across all properties
Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities and platform-specific writing requirements
Edit and proofread all marketing materials to ensure accuracy and brand consistency
Collaborate with design, digital and social teams to create cohesive visual and written communication
Write for digital platforms including YouTube, websites and email marketing
Create compelling titles, descriptions, and content optimised for search and engagement
Ensure all copy reflects brand personality : obsessive, bold, progressive, authentic, spirited and caring
Maintain warm, direct, proudly South African tone across all communications
Adapt messaging based on analytics insights while maintaining brand voice consistency
Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
Be proactive in identifying content opportunities and bringing creative suggestions to the team with genuine excitement and passion
Maintain obsessive attention to detail in all deliverables
Grade 12
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
At least 5-7 years of copywriting experience specifically in hospitality / luxury travel industry
Proven portfolio with 3-5 samples demonstrating brochure copy, digital content and sales material
Strong digital copywriting skills across platforms including website copy, email marketing, YouTube content, and video scripts
Understanding of SEO principles and luxury hospitality customer journey
Excellent command of English with impeccable grammar and writing skills
Basic understanding of Google Analytics and performance tracking
Knowledge of social media writing and platform-specific requirements
Obsessive attention to detail and high-pressure performance capabilities
Bold creative thinking with authentic South African voice
Spirited energy and proactive approach to identifying opportunities
Appreciation for South African heritage and wildlife / safari experiences
