This role is responsible for creating high-quality, persuasive, and engaging written content that supports marketing objectives, brand positioning, and audience engagement across multiple digital platforms. The position plays a key role in content development, copywriting, campaign support, and content strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities
Copywriting for Marketing
- Create persuasive, action-driven copy for digital marketing materials, including website landing pages, email campaigns, social media advertising, and product descriptions
- Develop compelling headlines, taglines, and calls-to-action aligned with marketing objectives
- Write engaging copy for campaign and product launches to attract and retain audience interest
Content Writing & Engagement
- Produce engaging, informative, and value-driven content such as blog posts, articles, case studies, and guides
- Develop content that educates audiences and supports thought leadership objectives
Content Marketing & Strategy
- Research industry trends, audience behaviour, and competitor content to inform content creation
- Support content marketing initiatives that drive traffic, engagement, and lead generation
- Participate in content planning and contribute ideas aligned with strategic goals
- Identify content gaps and propose new topics relevant to target audiences
- Ensure all content aligns with approved brand voice, messaging, and objectives
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the monthly content calendar
Brand Voice & Messaging
- Maintain a consistent brand voice across all digital platforms
- Adapt writing style to suit different brands, formats, audiences, and communication channels
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, design, SEO, and social media teams to support campaign objectives
- Collaborate with designers to ensure content complements visual elements and enhances user experience
Research & SEO Optimisation
- Conduct in-depth research to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and value
- Apply SEO best practices, including keyword usage, meta descriptions, and internal linking
- Perform keyword research to inform content creation and optimise existing content
Fact-Checking
- Verify facts, data, and sources to ensure accuracy and credibility
- Maintain high standards of content integrity and reliability
Editing & Proofreading
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, grammar, and tone
- Ensure content meets quality standards before publication
Campaign Support
- Create promotional and informational content to support marketing campaigns
- Assist with content development for digital campaigns and audience engagement initiatives
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor content performance using analytics tools
- Apply data-driven insights to improve content effectiveness and future strategies
Qualifications
- Education: Degree, diploma, or certificate in a relevant field
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years relevant industry experience
