Abantu Staffing Solutions is assisting a King William's Town conveyancing practice in East London to recruit a qualified Conveyancer. The role requires handling a full conveyancing portfolio from instruction to registration, with support from senior conveyancers.

You will draft and finalise all conveyancing documents, liaise with the Deeds Office, clients, banks and other conveyancers, and ensure compliance with FICA and POPIA.

Formación

• Grade 12 / Matric minimum.
• LLB degree and admitted Attorney status.
• Admitted Conveyancer required.
• 3+ years' experience in conveyancing or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Deeds Office procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a conveyancing portfolio from instruction to registration, with senior support as needed.
• Draft, check and finalise all conveyancing documents for lodgement.
• Liaise with the Deeds Office in King William's Town on lodgements, queries and rejections.
• Coordinate with clients, estate agents, banks and other conveyancers on progress.
• Handle correspondent conveyancing instructions from other parts of the country.
• Ensure all financial and statutory requirements are met prior to lodgement and registration.
• Assist with sectional title, development and township subdivision transactions as required.
• Collaborate with conveyancing secretaries and staff in the King William's Town office.
• Ensure compliance with FICA, POPIA and other relevant legislation throughout the process.
• Attend to any other duties incidental to the practice.
