Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute engineering aspects of assigned projects—60% design, program, and implement PLC systems across all projects.
• Develop and integrate control systems for PV, BESS, and micro-grid plants.
• Conduct system assessments and prepare engineering studies and design documentation for new and existing systems.
• Configure control systems in line with designed plant operations and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to align control system design with project objectives and technical constraints.
• Train and mentor a Junior R&D Engineer, providing technical guidance and knowledge.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of Siemens programming with Siemens S7 PLCs using Siemens TIA portal

Proficient in Siemens SCL text-based programming language

Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus / Modbus TCP / IP

Network design and implementation knowledge

Understanding of 3-phase power systems

Prior experience implementing PI controllers

Education

You will work closely with project engineers to understand project-specific requirements and ensure that control systems are designed, implemented, and configured to meet operational and regulatory standards.

Minimum Requirements

• B.Eng. in Electric and Electronic, B.Eng. in Electronic, or B.Sc.
• Eng Instrumentation / PLC background.

Experience

• 2-3 years in one of the following fields: C&I engineering, Automation engineering, SCADA engineering.

Required skills and competencies

• In-depth knowledge of Siemens programming with Siemens S7 PLCs using Siemens TIA portal.
• Proficient in Siemens SCL text-based programming language.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus / Modbus TCP / IP.
