Job summary

RPO Recruitment's client, a leading civil engineering consulting firm, seeks an experienced Contracts Manager / Resident Engineer to join their team on a 12-month limited duration contract in the Northern Cape.

The successful candidate will be responsible for construction monitoring and contract administration on bulk water and water network refurbishment projects, ensuring quality control and effective stakeholder management on site.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng or BTech degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng
• Minimum 10 years’ post-professional registration experience
• Proven experience in construction monitoring as a Contracts Manager and/or Resident Engineer
• Strong experience specifically on bulk water and/or water network refurbishment projects
• Sound knowledge of construction monitoring, contract administration and quality control
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work on a project site in the Northern Cape
