Contracts Coordinator - Reference: RST

Our client is looking for a Contracts Coordinator for North Cliff, Johannesburg, to join their team.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12
  • Computer literate
  • Previous site administration experience in a construction environment will be advantageous
Responsibilities
  • Administration, including answering calls, correspondence, invoicing, etc.
  • Operations: site planning for teams, ordering stock, submitting month‑end information for salaries, ensuring team targets are met each month.
  • Receiving orders, updating monthly job list, and giving feedback to the MD regarding contracts and tenders awarded.
  • Tracking the team's daily site visits and progress per site.
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs where necessary.
  • Cost monitoring and tracking for each job.
  • Liaising with clients and the contracts department regarding site progress.
  • Ensuring deliverables fall within scope and contract value.
  • Overseeing all aspects: setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, and summarizing progress of projects.
  • Handling client queries/complaints and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinating and completing projects on time, within budget and scope.
  • Preparing invoices for jobs in progress and completed jobs.
  • Preparing handover documents upon completion and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients; making courtesy calls regarding progress on various projects.
  • Following up on reports submitted to the estimating department.
  • Managing travel bookings (flights, accommodation, etc.).
