First Point Group in South Africa is seeking an experienced Project Manager focusing on Contact Centre, Telephony and Technology Transformation to lead multi-vendor migrations and CRM integrations.

You will own end-to-end delivery across SDLC in a fast-paced enterprise telecom environment, coordinating cross-functional teams and steering senior stakeholders under Agile, Waterfall or hybrid methods. This contract role offers a competitive daily rate and immediate availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional project management experience delivering complex technology, telephony, or contact centre projects.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end transformation initiatives across the full SDLC in enterprise environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of contact centre architectures, cloud telephony platforms, and CRM system integrations.
• Demonstrated expertise managing multi-vendor ecosystems and communicating effectively with senior executive stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience delivering projects across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen, budgeting, risk management, and resource forecasting capabilities.
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Professional availability for a contract engagement based in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of contact centre, telephony, and technology transformation projects across South Africa.
• Own full-lifecycle execution across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from plan to production.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, external software vendors, and senior executive stakeholders.
• Manage telephony migrations, CRM integrations, and contact centre infrastructure upgrades.
• Drive project execution across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery governance frameworks.
• Monitor and report on project portfolio health, milestone tracking, budget utilization, and schedule variances.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, technical dependencies, and cross-system integration bottlenecks.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, sprint planning, steering committee meetings, and executive status presentations.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, risk logs, change request records, and architecture handover runbooks.
• Ensure strict adherence to corporate governance standards, quality assurance baselines, and delivery schedules.
